EFSA public consultation: sugars in food.

The EFSA has launched a public consultation regarding the protocol that it aims to use for its upcoming assessment of dietary sugars. The aim of the assessment is to establish a cut-off value for intake of “free” sugars that is not associated with adverse health effects. Interested parties can submit comments on the protocol until 4 March 2018.
